Boisbuchet Workshop - Very Long Necklaces with Story Telling
“Very Long” necklaces made at Dinie Besems Boisbuchet workshop held by Vitra Design Museum.
Every participant had to make 27 meters necklace which fills vertically each end of workshop space and it has to have a story. 11 participants made each one Very Long necklace, so 11 necklaces were made, and it created very beautiful 11 long lines on the ground. And it all has a different story.
We decided to present these necklaces as we were laying under our own necklaces. Lying means another way of Wearing. And as each necklace has a personal story with, designers should be a model of the necklaces and represent it as wearing it with whole of our bodies.
Everyone dressed in black and lay under our own necklaces. 11 people were laying under 11 necklaces once vertically and once horizontally, and this conduct created a beautiful object for final presentation.
