Corporate identity design for Yoloh, a women’s accessory brand.
Yoloh is a trendy brand of women’s accessories.
I selected the opium poppy as a symbol of this brand because this flower represents the name of most beautiful woman in Chinese history. I pictured an elegantly dressed woman completely covered in red rouge; therefore, I thought it is the most suitable concept to be taken for a women’s accessory brand.
I tried to express an extremely feminine and dazzling feeling into the logo.
I created hand writing typeface, then replaced the flower drawing image with an ‘o’ next to a ‘y’. Then I made a varying red color gradient which smoothly covered the area between the ‘y’ and the ‘h’. This technique gives off a soft touch from the smooth shape of the logo, but also a strong accent by the vibrant colors.
